FireLake Designs is owned by the Citizen Potawatomi Nation. CPN is a Native American tribe located in Shawnee, OK. Their history is rich with culture and ability to overcome great odds. They originated in the Great Lakes region and were forced into Kansas in 1838 which became known in Potawatomi history as “The Trail of Death.†By 1870 they purchased land in what is now known as Pottawatomie County. Since their arrival, the tribe has thrived with prosperity and enterprise growth. In present day, the tribe owns several banks, two casinos, two grocery stores, golf course, putt-putt course, state of the art cultural heritage museum, cement batch plant, and a truck stop/travel plaza. In November of 2004 the Citizen Potawatomi Nation purchased Dgraph Sports and Apparel LLC from Ron and Steve Degraffenreid. The tribe was already purchasing its entire screen printing, advertising and uniform needs from Dgraph and saw an opportunity to save itself money with the purchase. In January of 2005 Dgraph moved from its original location in historic downtown Shawnee out to the CPN reservation. In January of 2007 Dgraph Sports and Apparel became FireLake Designs to align names with the rest of the CPN enterprises. Although our main customer is still the tribe (CPN) we have continued to do business with the public both local and online. We have top of the line equipment and an experienced staff that will customize your order to your needs.
